Where have I been?

Hello everyone! Hairychimp here how are you all doing? As you could have noticed (if you paid attention) I haven't blogged in quite a while and I have no excuse for it, I've just not been in the blogging mood over the past few months, I've been more into school work along with a lot more skill-developing things in computers and graphic design which will help me a lot! So what's been new you may ask?...

Well for a start over the Easter holidays I took a trip to America and went on a cruise which was awesome, we went to Columbia, Panama, through the Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico twice, so it was quite the trip! The trip itself was pretty good, we had a few disappointments along the way for example the airline lost one of our bags and we didn't get it for 8 days which obviously isn't good also there wasn't a lot to do for kids on the boat, there was a kids club but it was generally abandoned so there was no point really going so we didn't have a whole lot to do throughout the trip but we gained some great memories all the same! Also I got to hold a sloth in Columbia :D

While I was away I had a lot of time to think about a lot of stuff, some pretty deep. I guess the sense of being in open water with no lands for miles and miles away kind of sets your brain racing but I'll never forget what I had thought about, I may aswell tell you guys!
So when we were on the boat we met this man who believed in equality and peace in the world and he told us tons of stories on how he overcome hate and generally turned his life around to be nice to everyone no matter what, which was pretty inspiring and helped me in my life today. My eyes have been opened to the fact that, yes people may be different and do things that I don't necessarily agree with or like but that's up to them, they do what they want to do. I learned that people may be mean in everyday life because that's just the easy you've been brought up do they don't know any different, but if they meet a nice person who can steer them in the right direction then that would help them greatly! The most important thing I learned when I was there was to not discriminate or judge or even think differently towards someone just because of their appearance or sexuality or whatever it may be. You should see them as a person just like me and you and that's that. People who go around shouting racist chants, especially during football matches are completely ignorant and should be punished greatly because it's just not fair, even if they wanted to they couldn't help what they look like so people should get off their backs and focus on the game of football or rugby or whatever the sport is. I learned that the only person you should live for, is yourself, who cares what other purple think about you? It's not like they are going to have a major affect on your life. If you get called ugly, so what? Ignore them and walk away, don't let anyone bring you down. If you think you're not good enough or don't look good enough or don't have the right necessities for something just look at yourself and think 'no this is who I am, I can't change that so I might aswell embrace it!'

So that turned into a very bad motivational speech I'm sorry, the moral of the story though is just to be nice to everyone, you'll feel a lot better inside, life is too short to be wasting on being, or standing for people being horrible to you.

Thanks for reading, also sorry for the slightly sad ending I felt like I had to express that you should be who you want to be and don't let anyone change you. Goodbye!
